Preparing for unexpected trip delays and cancellations

Given the increases in flight delays and cancellations, are you prepared for a sudden change in plans when traveling?  Here are some helpful hints on how to stay prepared: Prior to leaving Consider leaving on the first flight of the day.  While it is a bit tougher to wake up in the morning, your chances of a flight delay are minimized.
