Where could I go in Paris for a quick bite on my way to Montmartre but off the tourist tracks? Thanks! |

One place to go to meet true "Parisians"; la Fourmi. Small café (NE
corner of Rue des Martyrs and Bd de Rochechouart). Very good quiches,
filled with locals, unexpensive. Do not miss the bottle rack hanging
from the ceiling. Good value. Since it's near Pigalle (the tourist red light district of Paris), you may want to take a taxi to go back to your hotel, if it's too late...
